Newcastle United will face Watford in the Premier League this weekend.

Merino has been out of action since the match against Crystal Palace last month due to a back injury.
The 21-year-old midfielder went to Spain to see a specialist and retuned to Newcastle last Friday.
The Spain Under-21 international midfielder has revealed that he has been training all by himself since returning to the North East of England.

“Since I returned here I have mainly been training by myself,” Merino told The Chronicle. “I had only trained with the rest of team in maybe two or three sessions which were not too hard for me.”
Merino, though, has recovered from his injury and is available for this weekend’s game against Watford at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has told the club’s official website that the youngster will be available for the game against the Hornets.
The Spaniard initially joined Newcastle on loan from Osasuna and his contract was then made permanent.

“It’s still too soon for some players,” Benitez told Newcastle’s official website. “(Paul) Dummett, (Christian) Atsu, (Jamaal) Lascelles are still recovering, but Merino has been training, doing a full training session. He is available, and he will be in the squad.”
Newcastle have picked up 14 points from 12 matches in the Premier League so far this season.
