Liverpool have brought in one first-team signing this summer in Kostas Tsimikas, and fans will be hoping for more despite a title-winning season.
The Reds won’t splash the cash needlessly though, and they may look to bring in moe young recruits for the future.
Spanish goalkeeper Javi Cendon is on trial with the club, whilst Polish stopper Fabian Mrozek has also arrived from FC Wroclaw.
Now, it seems that Liverpool may have snapped up another young talent, this time raiding German side Hoffenheim.
Back in June, Kicker reported that Liverpool were interested in signing Hoffenheim talent Melkamu Frauendorf, with ‘increasing signs’ back then that he was leaving.
Now, the 16-year-old has changed his Instagram bio to claim that he is now a Liverpool player, seemingly confirming his move.

Frauendorf was born in Ethiopia but represents Germany, with six caps to his name at Under-15 and Under-16 levels.
Primarily an attacking midfielder, Frauendorf has been backed for a bright future, and it seems that the teenager will now be calling Anfield home.
