Aston Villa have loaned out striker Ross McCormack to Melbourne City, and he has a point to prove.
Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack does not appear to have impressed every Melbourne City supporter after his debut on Friday evening.
Villa have loaned McCormack to Melbourne, with the striker heading to Australia to try and get his career back on track.
McCormack has endured a miserable time at Villa since joining the Midlands side, and seems to have no future at Villa Park while Steve Bruce remains in charge.

The 31-year-old will be looking to prove a point during his time in Australia, but his debut for Melbourne City did not go according to plan.
Although Melbourne did pick up a victory against Brisbane Roar, McCormack was booked and substituted during the contest, with his performance short of his best.

And although some Melbourne fans were impressed by the debutant, others appear to feel that McCormack will need to improve considerably if he is to make a success of his time with them.
