Meet Team Great Britain’s Winter Olympics 2026 squad

Team Great Britain will send a 53-strong squad to compete at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo from 6–22 February, featuring athletes across 11 sports and disciplines.

A mix of experienced competitors and exciting young talent will represent the Union Flag as Britain targets its best Winter Games performance yet.

Alpine skiing

Dave Ryding, Billy Major and Laurie Taylor will compete in the men’s slalom events for Team GB.

Biathlon

Jacques Jefferies (men) and Shawna Pendry (women) have been selected to compete in biathlon, returning the nation to this sport’s Olympic field.

Bobsleigh

The men’s bobsleigh squad includes Brad Hall, Taylor Lawrence, Leon Greenwood, and Greg Cackett, with Alex Cartagena travelling as reserve. On the women’s side, Adele Nicoll and Ashleigh Nelson will compete, with Kya Placide as reserve.

Cross-country skiing

Andrew Musgrave, James Clugnet, and Joe Davies will represent the men, while Anna Pryce will compete in the women’s cross-country skiing events.

Curling

Team GB’s men’s curling team features Bruce Mouat, Grant Hardie, Hammy McMillan Jr, Bobby Lammie, and Kyle Waddell. The women’s side includes Rebecca Morrison, Sophie Jackson, Sophie Sinclair, Jennifer Dodds, and Fay Henderson. Mouat and Dodds will also compete in mixed doubles.

Figure skating

The figure skating contingent includes ice dancers Lilah Fear & Lewis Gibson and Phebe Bekker & James Hernandez, pair skaters Anastasia Vaipan-Law & Luke Digby, women’s singles skater Kristen Spours, and Edward Appleby in the team event.

Freestyle skiing

Zoe Atkin (women’s halfpipe), Ollie Davies (men’s ski cross), Makayla Gerken Schofield (women’s moguls), Mateo Jeannesson (men’s moguls), Gus Kenworthy (men’s halfpipe), Chris McCormick (men’s slopestyle & big air), Kirsty Muir (women’s slopestyle & big air) and Liam Richards (men’s halfpipe) will compete in freestyle skiing.

Short-track speed skating

Niall Treacy will be Team GB’s sole short-track speed skater, entered in the 500m, 1,000m, and 1,500m individual events.

Skeleton

Great Britain’s skeleton squad includes Matt Weston and Marcus Wyatt for the men and Amelia Coltman, Tabitha Stoecker, and Freya Tarbit for the women.

Snowboarding

British snowboarders selected are Charlotte Bankes (women’s snowboard cross & mixed team), Mia Brookes (women’s slopestyle & big air), Maisie Hill (women’s slopestyle & big air), Txema Mazet-Brown (men’s slopestyle & big air) and Huw Nightingale (men’s snowboard cross & mixed team).

Speed skating

Ellia Smeding will represent Team GB in women’s long-track speed skating events.
