Football.London have stated that Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko did not play particularly well against Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby on Saturday afternoon.
Zinchenko, who can also operate as a midfielder, started at left-back for Arsenal against Tottenham in the Premier League today.
The £30 million summer signing from Manchester City (Sky Sports) has been struggling with injury of late, and his performance in the North London derby today was not exactly great.
Media reaction to Oleksandr Zinchenko performance for Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur
Football.London have rated the Ukraine international’s performance against Tottenham 6 out of 10.
The report stated: “Looked a little off the pace throughout on his first game back from a calf injury. Never particularly convincing in defence, while his passing wasn’t as crisp as usual.”

Oleksandr Zinchenko did not have his best game for Arsenal today, but he did give his all against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby and helped the Gunners to all three points.
We do not think that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be too disappointed with the shift put in by the Ukrainian.
After all, the former Manchester City star has only just recovered from injury, and we know that it can take a while for players to get back to their best after a spell on the sidelines.
