Tottenham Hotspur are now in talks with Juventus over signing Weston McKennie and sending Tanguy Ndombele the other way, according to Tuttosport.
What’s the story?
Tuttosport have reported that Tottenham are interested in signing McKennie from Juventus in the summer transfer window.
Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri is willing to offload the 22-year-old USA international midfielder.
The youngster did relatively well in his debut season in Italy in 2020-21.
The former Schalke star scored five goals and gave two assists in 18 Serie A starts and scored one goal in the Champions League last season.
However, Allegri reportedly wants a midfielder with a different profile.
Enter Ndombele.
Solution for Tottenham Hotspur
Now, Ndombele has told Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici that he wants to leave.
The Telegraph reported that on Friday.
The report added that Spurs are looking for £51.5 million as transfer fee for the France international midfielder.

And now Paratici is in talks with his former club Juventus over McKennie.
It seems that the Italian official has found a solution to the Ndombele ‘problem’.
Now, of course, it is not going to be a straight swap. Money will be involved and the two players will also have to agree to terms.
But at least there is a potential here to get a deal done.
