Rob McElhenney has been speaking to Sky Sports after he and Ryan Reynolds visited the Racecourse Ground at Wrexham FC for the first time.
What’s the story?
Well, McElhenney has clearly done his research, as he shared an unbelievable statistic with Sky Sports during an interview.
The American actor said: “We just found out the stat from our media team. It was the first time the club had come back from two goals down, down a man, in 13 years.”
Now, that is an extremely interesting discovery.
Did Phil Parkinson and the players step things up because of Reynolds and McElhenney’s visit to the Racecourse Ground?
You could certainly argue that on the basis of the statistic, although that wouldn’t be fair to say – as professionals, they surely give it their all every week.
It does, however, suggest that there could be added motivation to impress the two Hollywood stars when they are watching in person.
13 years is a long time, and as far as we know, no other Hollywood stars have come to visit during that time – there is clearly some correlation.
Exciting times for Wrexham under Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney

Wrexham fans are probably still pinching themselves that this is all happening to their beloved Red Dragons.
The pair looked like they thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the Racecourse Ground, as they posed for pictures with supporters and signed shirts.
McElhenney was also seen laying on the pitch as he embraced the stadium for the first time since he and Reynolds acquired the Club.
It is a seriously exciting time for Wrexham, to say the least.

The Red Dragons are currently sitting comfortably in 11th place in the National League, 13 points off the summit of the table.
With a bit of momentum, who knows what could happen come the end of the season.
With Reynolds and McElhenney at the helm, anything is possible.
