Glasgow Rangers forward Michael O’Halloran was spotted among the Celtic fans, while the Ibrox club have brought back former Gers star Allan McGregor.

O’Halloran, who has been on the books of Rangers since February 2016 when he joined from St Johnstone for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £500,000, sat with the Celtic fans at the Scottish Cup final against Motherwell at Hampden Park in Glasgow this past Saturday afternoon, as reported by The Daily Record.
Rangers fans are far from impressed with 27-year-old forward, and Ibrox captain McCulloch, who was on the books of the Gers from 2007 until 2015 and won the league title thrice with the Glasgow giants, has criticised the ex-Bolton Wanderers prospect.
McCulloch, though, has praised Rangers for signing 36-year-old Scotland international goalkeeper Allan McGregor on a free transfer following his departure from Hull City in the Championship in England at the end of the 2017-18 season.

“It is disrespectful to his team-mates, to the Rangers fans and to the club,” McCulloch wrote about O’Halloran in The Glasgow Evening Times. “There is no excuse for it, it is just not good enough.
“Michael might not have had as good a career as he wanted at Rangers and it might not have gone the way he wanted it to go. But you still have to be professional and respectful and he certainly hasn’t covered himself in glory here.”
McCulloch wrote about McGregor in The Glasgow Evening Times: “He is still a very good player and he was in fantastic form for Hull City in the Championship last season.
“But, having been at Rangers for many years, he knows what it is all about and he will understand the challenge at Ibrox next season.”

Contrasting futures?
O’Halloran has failed to make an impact at Rangers, and it is hard to see the forward remain at Ibrox beyond the summer.
As for McGregor, the Scotsman started his professional club football career at Rangers and could establish himself as a regular in the Gers’ first team on his return to Ibrox.
