So will Ross McCormack stay at Leeds after all?
A day of twists and turns for Leeds United, and for Ross McCormack personally.
The striker affirmed his commitment to the club, citing Brian McDermott as his reason for staying – who was promptly sacked at 8pm.
He then gave an interview to Sky Sports News, admitting he was ‘gutted’ – a move studio guest and former Crystal Palace owner strongly criticised.
His agents then revealed six separate clubs had enquired over his availability over a transfer – but it seems he will not be leaving after all.
‘See you tomorrow’ cannot be any more certain regarding the captain’s desire to stay – Let’s just hope for the club’s sake they can get a win at home to Huddersfield.
