QPR recorded their second victory of the season after winning 2-1 at Bolton on Saturday.
Queens Park Rangers boss Steve McClaren has praised his side after they extended their unbeaten run with a 2-1 victory at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
The Hoops have now gone four games without defeat, after goals from Luke Freeman and Ebere Eze put Bolton to the sword.
Rangers made it hard for themselves when Josh Magennis pulled one back late on, but the QPR boss has expressed his joy with the win.
Speaking to West London Sport, McClaren said: “It’s a huge three points. We’ve shown today we can do everything. We can really play football, can compete and really work hard and get results away from home.”
QPR fans will not only be delighted with the performance and the points secured, but the fact that McClaren has overseen a change in tactics that is beginning to pay off.
The players look a lot more confident and assured with their roles after a bad start to the season, and McClaren was keen to highlight this.
“The past two performances have shown that we can compete a lot better than we did four or five weeks ago.
“We’ve not just got a team, we’ve got a squad and we can compete. We’ve just got to improve on certain things,” McClaren added.
QPR face Millwall and Norwich City at home this week, and the former England boss will want to see his side maintain their unbeaten run.
