McAvennie predicts Anderson to make bigger impact than Yarmolenko at West Ham

West Ham United have signed Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko in the summer transfer window.

Frank McAvennie has predicted on social networking site Twitter that Felipe Anderson will have a bigger impact than Andriy Yarmolenko at West Ham United next season.

West Ham have signed 25-year-old attacking midfielder Anderson and 28-year-old Yarmolenko – who can operate as a forward or as a winger – in the summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the Hammers had to pay Lazio a transfer fee of £35 million in order to secure the services of the Brazil international.

The London club paid Borussia Dortmund £17.5 million in transfer fees for Ukraine international Yarmolenko, as reported by The London Evening Standard.

Former West Ham striker McAvennie has predicted on Twitter that Anderson will make a bigger impact than Yarmolenko at the London Stadium next season.

The former Scotland international has also shared his hopes that Mexico international Javier Hernandez stays at West Ham beyond the summer transfer window.

West Ham will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League top six next season.
