Jose Mourinho has shared that Giovani Lo Celso is ‘training’ with the Tottenham first-team.
The Tottenham boss told Football London that he is not going to risk the 24-year-old yet after his ‘big injury’, but he is back after a lay-off since December.
Lo Celso has not featured for Spurs since the turn of the year because of a hamstring injury, but his return to training could be a timely boost for this Champions League-chasing side.
Therefore, Spurs fans will be delighted to read that their squad has been given a major boost with the return of their £27 million technician.
“Training with the team but a big injury,” said Mourinho.
“We’re not going to risk yet. In fact, we don’t want to risk, we’ll bring him to the team when he is OK.
“Maybe one or two more weeks. Everybody else OK.”

With Bale showing great progression and ripping Burnley apart at the weekend, and Alli also showcasing his old self.
Added with Lo Celso returning to training and nearing first-team action again, Mourinho could have a strong group of players to choose from during these vital few months of the season.
Tottenham still have Champions League places to play for, Europa League knockout games and that all-important League Cup final against the high-flying Manchester City.
