Some Liverpool fans on social media are feeling a little bit happier after seeing Jurgen Klopp’s update on Harvey Elliott.

“He’s great, Harvey’s great. I have no idea when exactly it’ll be, but we can’t wait actually. It looks really good,” Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.

“Whichever person you speak to from the rehab department, you hear that he is so determined, he is really very positive all the time with us here. It is nice to see him smiling the whole day and working hard. He will be back, but how soon I don’t know.”

Elliott, of course, dislocated his ankle against Leeds earlier this season, and, to be honest, it looked like an injury that could have been career-altering at the time.

However, it sounds as though this young man is staying positive and recovering well, and that’s absolutely brilliant to hear.

The teenager has the world at his feet and the brightest of futures ahead of him, and if he can come back from this injury soon, he could make a real impact at Anfield this season.

Unfortunately, Liverpool fans have been subjected to their fair share of bad news as of late. They’ve been given negative updates on injuries to Naby Keita, Joe Gomez and Roberto Firmino, so this positive update on Elliott is certainly welcomed.

Here’s what fans online have been saying about Elliott…
