West Ham United boss David Moyes has told Football London that Sebastian Haller could return for his side’s match against Burnley on Wednesday.

West Ham’s record signing has not been seen since the restart, as he is suffering with injury.

And although Moyes admits that West Ham don’t have a precise return date for the striker, he has suggested that he could play a part in midweek.

“Yarmolenko is showing some form, we got Arthur back today, we’re not sure how Seb Haller is. Maybe for midweek,” Moyes said. “We had Mark Noble back too so we are getting a few more back.”

Haller’s return should be a boost for West Ham, but there are no guarantees that he would start currently, even if he was fully fit.

Michail Antonio has led the line for West Ham in their last two games, and the powerful forward has done an excellent job.

Antonio has netted twice in his last two games, which means Haller will face a fight for his place when he does return.

West Ham’s recent up-turn in form has helped take them away from the relegation zone, with Moyes’s side now sat four points clear of danger.
