Maxwell Cornet might fancy a switch to Liverpool this summer.

Maxwel Cornet hasn’t exactly poured cold water on a possible move to Liverpool.
The Reds have been linked with a number of Lyon players, from Memphis Depay to Tanguy Ndombele – not to mention Nabil Fekir following his botched move to Anfield last summer.
But it looks like Cornet might be joining the list of players constantly associated with a move to Liverpool.
Speaking to beIN Sport in France, the 22-year-old Ivory Coast international, contracted until 2021, was asked about the prospect of joining Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Cornet, linked to a host of other sides, said: “I did not say I wanted to leave,. We met the president [Jean-Michel Aulas] in January, and I said I wanted to extend [my contract], but talks were not successful.
“Liverpool are a big club, any links are flattering. I’m under contract until 2021, but you never know in football so we’ll see.”
Nobody would blame Cornet if he did want to join the Reds.
After all, Liverpool are one of the best teams in Europe after reaching a second successive Champions League final, ahead of facing Tottenham in Madrid this Saturday.
Klopp is overseeing one of the most exciting projects in the game and, if the German wants Cornet included, he’d be silly to say no.
