Leeds United defender Maximilian Wober has raved about teammate Robin Koch after his performance against Nottingham Forest.
The Whites just couldn’t afford to lose to Forest on Tuesday night.
This was a real relegation six-pointer and Leeds simply had to come away with all three points at Elland Road.
The night didn’t exactly start well for Leeds as Orel Mangala slotted Forest into the lead.
Javi Gracia’s men did respond though and Jack Harrison levelled it up as he followed in Marc Roca’s shot.
Luis Sinisterra proved to be the hero for Leeds, firing home a superb winner before half-time.
Leeds saw out the second half to claim a vital three points, sending themselves up to 13th place in the Premier League table.

Maximilian Wober hails Robin Koch
That’s three wins in six since the appointment of Javi Gracia and Leeds appear to have real hope of staying up.
After leaking four goals at Arsenal on Saturday, keeping it a little tighter at the back was key against Forest.
Conceding that early goal wasn’t ideal but Leeds kept Forest quiet for large spells; that Mangala goal was their only shot on target.
Praise must go to the defensive duo of Robin Koch and Maximilian Wober, who has formed a centre back partnership of late.
Wober arrived from Red Bull Salzburg in January and appears to have struck up a decent relationship with Koch.
The pair are able to communicate easily in German and Wober took to Instagram to praise Koch after beating Forest.
Wober called Koch ‘maschine’, which – somewhat unsurprisingly – translates to ‘machine’ in England.
Leeds will hope to stay and then keep hold of Koch.
Reports from Sport1 in March suggested that Koch was considering his Leeds future with Newcastle United showing a real interest.
Staying in the Premier League will be key to keeping the German and Leeds will be desperate to fend off Newcastle this summer.
