Freiburg’s Maximilian Philipp says he hasn’t decided his future just yet.

Freiburg striker Maximilian Philipp has told Sport Bild that he doesn’t know where his future lies amid fresh reports of interest from Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham.
Philipp, 23, joined Freiburg from Energie Cottbus in 2012, and he enjoyed a breakout campaign this past season, emerging as one of German football’s top young players.

With nine goals and two assists in 25 Bundesliga appearances, Philipp showed real promise, whether up front or out wide.
Philipp’s goals helped Freiburg claim a surprise seventh-placed finish in the Bundesliga table, and his exploits are now set to trigger major summer transfer interest.

Bild reported over the weekend that managerless Borussia Dortmund are set to challenge Tottenham Hotspur for his signature, with a fee of €20million (£17.5million) required to land him.
It remains to be seen whether either club pay such a fee, but Philipp has been discussing his future in an interview with Sport Bild, suggesting that he hasn’t decided whether to stay or go yet, claiming it really is a 50:50 decision for him to make.
“I can not say exactly yet whether I see myself leaving, or whether I might stay another year,” said Philipp. “This is a 50:50 decision,” he added.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Tottenham will almost certainly be in the market for another attacker this summer after Vincent Janssen’s struggles in his first season with the club, with the quick and skilful Philipp a possible option.
Spurs shopped in Germany to land Kevin Wimmer and Heung-min Son in 2015, and could do it again with Philipp, who fits the mould of what Tottenham target under Mauricio Pochettino; young, talented and somewhat under the radar.
