Speaking on Vibe With Five, Norwich City defender Max Aarons has been speaking about Liverpool’s Sadio Mane.

Aarons was speaking about his career to date, and inevitably, he was quizzed about the toughest player he’s ever faced.

Aarons has played against some of the most talented players on the planet, but he says Mane is best winger he’s ever come up against.

What’s been said?

The Norwich star was discussing the 29-year-old.

“For me it was Sadio Mane because he’s not one of those wingers who gets on the ball and runs at you, of course, he will do that because he’s a world-class player, but he just makes those runs between you and the centre-half and he’s always looking to get on the end of crosses and stuff, which as a full-back is so hard to defend against. I prefer when the winger will run at you, it’s easier to defend against,” Aarons said.

Nightmare to defend

Just how do you defend against a player like Sadio Mane?

His pace makes him impossible to keep tabs on, and his darting, smart runs give you an almost impossible task.

He’s also an incredible finisher on his day, while his positioning is second-to-none.

There’s a reason the Senegalese star has a Premier League Golden Boot to his name, and it’s because he’s simply one of the greatest attackers this division has ever seen.

Unfortunately for Aarons, he’s got to come up against Mane again later this season, and we can only imagine that he’ll be in for another tough afternoon.
