Icardi is set to lead Inter’s attack into battle against Tottenham.

Mauro Icardi’s wife and agent Wanda has sent a warning to Tottenham Hotspur on CalcioMercato’s website that the Argentine striker will score for Inter Milan on Tuesday evening.
Spurs are currently preparing in Italy ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Luciano Spalletti’s side, as they look to get their 2018-19 campaign off with three points at the San Siro.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have a number of players out of action, including captain Hugo Lloris and midfielder Dele Alli while defenders Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld have been left behind.
Now, Icard’s wife and agent Wanda has fired a shot in Spurs’ direction ahead of Tuesday night’s clash by claiming that her husband will end his four-game drought by scoring against Spurs.
“Everything is at stake tomorrow,” Wanda Icardi said. “For Mauro it’s a very special challenge because he’s very attached to the black & blue shirt.
“Last year he believed that Inter would make the Champions League when no-one else did. What are Inter missing? I think they need a little time, after which we’ll see a very strong team because it has great players and a really strong Coach.”
“Mauro will score because he always has, it’s something that comes naturally to him.”

Still only 25 years of age, Icardi has a sensational goalscoring rate at Inter Milan, finding the back of the net 107 times in 185 league and cup appearances for the Italian giants.
What Icardi does lack, is any kind of Champions League experience and that could give Spurs the confidence to nullify Inter’s main source of goals. Icardi does, however, have six goals in 15 Europa League appearances.
