The Inter Milan captain’s comments on his future may potentially cause Los Blancos to switch their attentions back to the Tottenham Hotspur talisman.

In Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur boast one of the best strikers currently playing professional football.
The 25-year-old has firmly established himself as one of Europe’s premier marksmen over the past few years, and has already racked up 151 goals in 231 appearances for Spurs.
At international level, Kane helped England reach the World Cup semi-finals and won the Golden Boot along the way, even though he did come under some criticism for failing to score from open play in the knockout stages.
However, his two assists in the 3-2 win over Spain and the winner against Croatia in the Nations League have made him the darling of the Three Lions fans once again.
Kane’s talents do not go unnoticed among rival clubs, however, with Real Madrid said to be interested in the forward.
According to a report in Spanish outlet OK Diario, Los Blancos see Kane as a potential replacement for Karim Benzema, though Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi is believed to be top of their shopping list.

However, the Argentine has responded to transfer rumours by telling the Corriere dello Sport: “I don’t think this is the right time, given the results, and I’m fine where I am.
“I’ve always made my goals clear: first, to return to the Champions League with Inter, and we’ve done that. Second, to win something with Inter. The [sporting] director [Piero Ausilio] has made a good team despite not being able to spend a lot.”
Such comments may undoubtedly cause alarm to some Spurs fans as Real could well switch their interest from Icardi to Kane as the January transfer window draws ever closer.
