Aston Villa have been linked with the Chelsea talent.

If Aston Villa end up signing Callum Hudson-Odoi, it’s a massive coup.
The Birmingham Mail claimed in November that Aston Villa were keen on signing the Chelsea talent on a half-season loan.
The trail has gone somewhat cold since but, based on Maurizio Sarri’s latest comments, the Villans should certainly not give up. It could be worth the effort.
Sarri, speaking to BBC Sport, suggested that the 18-year-old has the potential to be one of the best players in Europe at some point in the future.
The Italian said: “As a winger, he has to improve in the defensive phase, but he has the potential to become a very important player, not only for English football I think but for European football.”
Sky Sports claim that the Premier League giants – who rejected a £20 million offer from Bayern Munich yesterday – value him at a whopping £40 million.
It’s serious money for someone who has just turned 18 and although the figures might be a bit intimidating for a Championship club like Aston Villa, Dean Smith must persevere.
The Villans were already successful in signing Tammy Abraham on loan this season and, with John Terry’s influence in the West Midlands, who’s to say that they can’t get another Blues prospect?
