Gareth Bale has bee linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he does not have any kind of contact with Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, but has refused to rule out a move for the Welshman.
According to reports from Diario Gol, Bale will be allowed to leave the Bernabeu next summer.
The Wales international has endured an injury hit campaign, and has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier league.
The report claims that Real chief Florentino Perez have come to an agreement that Bale can leave next summer.
Back in October, Daily Mail reported that Bale could be set for a sensational return to Spurs, his former club.
Chelsea and Manchester United have had approaches for the world class winger turned down in previous windows, but he could be tempted by an emotional return to the north London club.
When Pochettino was asked whether Bale could return to the London club in the future, the Argentine said that he doesn’t have any contact with the player nor with his agents, but that he is a fantastic footballer and in football anything can happen.
“I don’t know, I don’t know. I saw him in Madrid when we played there,” said Pochettino in his pre-match press conference, as quoted by Football London.
“Always he keeps contact with all the people here, that worked here in the past. But you know, what I can say about that, I don’t know because I don’t have that relationship with him or the people around him.
“Of course he’s a fantastic player. You never know in football what can happen.”
