Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will face Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield in the Premier League this weekend.

Liverpool signed Salah from Italian club AS Roma in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £34 million.
Back in June 2015, The London Evening Standard claimed that Tottenham were interested in signing the Egypt international winger when he was still on the books of Chelsea.
Pochettino told Football.London when asked if he had an eye on Salah before he joined Liverpool: “No, no. no. We never spoke about Salah.”

Mistake in hindsight?
Salah failed to do much of note at Chelsea, but the 25-year-old was superb during his spell at Roma and has taken his game to another level since his move to Liverpool in the summer of 2017.
The Egyptian has scored 19 goals and provided six assists in 22 Premier League starts for Liverpool so far this season.

The former Chelsea winger would have been a great signing for Tottenham, given his pace, eye for goals and quality to get past players, and he could have made Spurs genuine Premier League title challengers this season.
Salah could make Pochettino rue his chance not to sign him when he lines up for Liverpool against Tottenham at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
