Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly told Tanguy Ndombele he wants to produce a squad capable of winning the league.

Ndombele is reportedly on the verge of a move to Tottenham, with the north London side finally set to end their wait for a new signing in some style.
Spurs have not brought in a new face for over 500 days, but are set to break their transfer record to snap up Ndombele from Lyon.
And it seems that Pochettino is not planning on stopping at just signing Ndombele.
The Spurs boss may well have just given a clue that his side’s work is just starting this summer, after an excitement development.
Reports in France claim that Pochettino helped to persuade Ndombele to join by suggesting to him that Tottenham have plans to put together a squad capable of winning the Premier League.

Ndombele’s arrival will help close the gap on Manchester City, but it is not likely to be enough by itself.
Tottenham arguably need at least another midfielder, a right-back and a quality back-up striker before they can be considered as genuine title contenders.
Pochettino has so far been tight lipped in public over Tottenham’s transfer plans, although he has previously suggested that his side need to start ‘thinking differently’.
Ndombele’s impeding arrival at Spurs is the first sign that Tottenham have taken his words on board, and it seems that the Frenchman’s addition could just be the start for Pochettino’s side this summer.
