Tottenham Hotspur’s season is in danger of imploding.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters after his side’s bitterly disappointing defeat to Chelsea, and responded in blunt fashion, when asked whether he is concerned that his team could miss out on the top four this season, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs currently sit in third spot in the Premier League table, nine points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, but perhaps more importantly, their lead over fourth placed Arsenal has been cut to just four points.
Pochettino’s men are a point further ahead of fifth placed Manchester United and seven clear of Chelsea, although Maurizio Sarri’s side have a game in hand.
These must be worrying times for Tottenham fans, as their team seem to be faltering at the wrong time.
Poch addressed the media last night, and responded when asked whether he is concerned about his side’s top four ambitions, as quoted by Football.London:

“Why careful? I’m not afraid.”
Tottenham have no time to feel sorry for themselves, with a home game against north London rivals Arsenal to come on Saturday, and nothing less than a win will do for Pochettino’s side, if they are to reassert their dominance in the race for the top four.
