The Tottenham Hotspur boss raved about the club’s supporters when speaking to reporters.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media yesterday, ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan tonight, and offered high words of praise for the club’s fans, labelling them as ‘special’ and ‘amazing’, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs have always been a well supported club, but the past 18 months have been particularly challenging for the club’s fans, with all of their home games being played at Wembley Stadium.
Building work on their new stadium has over-run, and they are not expected to move into their new home until March next year now.
Pochettino spoke to reporters yesterday, and responded when asked whether he expects Tottenham fans to fill Wembley Stadium for tonight’s match against Inter, as quoted by Football.London:

“I am so happy with them. I feel so proud for them. Of course you know very well I come very Argentina, Newell’s Old Boys and Espanyol I spent more than ten years playing or managing the club, but I think here the fans are so special. I can tell you that, of course, I’m always going to have in my body, in my heart, the fans because they are amazing on the street or of course beside the pitch, it translates a massive energy for us.”
Tottenham have performed admirably over the past year and a half, considering that they have essentially played all of their games away from home.
Even so, Spurs fans will be waiting with bated breath for the day when they finally move into their impressive new 62,000 capacity home.
