The Tottenham Hotspur boss was full of praise for Newcastle United ahead of tomorrow night’s game.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s clash with Newcastle in the Premier League tomorrow night, and praised the work being done by Rafa Benitez at St James’ Park, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The Spaniard has worked miracles in charge of the Magpies, guiding his side to Premier league safety this season.
The Toon currently sit in 10th spot in the Premier League table, and could finish as high as ninth with two wins from their final two games, and that would represent a fantastic achievement, considering the limited funds with which Benitez has had at his disposal.

Spurs are in desperate need of the points tomorrow night, so Newcastle will undoubtedly be in for a tough evening in London, and they will surely be tested to the limit.
Pochettino spoke to reporters, and offered high words of praise for Benitez and his Newcastle side, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“Rafa is doing a fantastic job, with all the circumstances. When we assess the other teams, we assess with reality. Newcastle is a big club, but the reality is to be safe and in the middle of the table is a massive success for them.”
This summer will be a vitally important one for Newcastle, and the club’s owners, whoever they may be, will have to sufficiently back Benitez in the transfer market, if the Spaniard is to be convinced that his ambition can be matched on Tyneside.
