The Tottenham Hotspur youngster has really impressed this season.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters about Oliver Skipp’s recent rise to prominence, and raved about his quality, suggesting that he always feels safe when the 18-year-old is in possession, as quoted by the Sun.
Skipp has been a real breath of fresh air for Spurs this season, making four senior appearances for the club.
And his emergence onto the scene could not have come at a better time for Tottenham, with Mousa Dembele’s contract expiring in the summer and Victor Wanyama’s uncertain future in north London.
Pochettino spoke to reporters, and offered high words of praise for Skipp, highlighting why he has so much trust in the teenager, as quoted by the Sun:

“You feel safe when he touches the ball. He is only 18 but when he has the ball you can relax. He may give us the opportunity to rest Moussa, who has played a lot of minutes.”
Tottenham welcome Bournemouth to Wembley Stadium today, and Skipp could very well be in line to start against the Cherries.
He is certainly good enough, he has proven that much, but whether Poch will be willing to throw him in from the start for only the second time ever remains to be seen.
