Tottenham Hotspur will face German giants Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League clash on Tuesday night at the Signal Iduna Park Stadium.

Ahead of the match, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has publicly warned Dele Alli to be on his best behaviour during the match because of the identity of the match official.

The match will be officiated by Clement Turpin, who reported Alli to Fifa for making a middle-finger gesture during England’s World Cup qualifier against Slovakia in September.

The 21-year-old received a one-match ban from Fifa for an “offensive gesture” at Wembley and Pochettino has warned him to be aware of his actions.

Spurs are top of the Group H table with 10 points, while Dortmund have only two points on board. Pochettino could be looking to rest some of his key players including Alli, but the England international could play some part during the game.

According to reports from The Times, Danny Rose will return to the team after he was left out completely against Arsenal.

“It’s important to be aware,” Pochettino said, as quoted by The Times. “I will tell Dele to be careful if he plays. Always it’s important. The referee moves on and I’m sure there’s nothing in his mind to ban him for that situation. But it is always good to know. I will tell Dele.”
