Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino appears to have no interest in cashing in on Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen’s current Tottenham contract runs until the end of next season, and there are concerns that he could leave.
However, Pochettino has now given the clearest indication that Spurs are eager to tie the Dane down to a new contract, even though they could receive some big money bids in the summer.
Pochettino said: “It’s a very special situation. Christian is a special person and we’re all different.
“Timing for him and the club and agreeing something are maybe different to other players. I hope he will be here in the future. Christian and us are so close and it’s not long until the end of the season now and it’s about being focused on the end of the season.”
Eriksen proved his worth once again to Tottenham last night, as Pochettino’s men beat Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0.

Eriksen took aim from distance in the final minutes and beat Matty Ryan in the Brighton goal to secure a vital three points for Spurs.
Tottenham’s win takes them closer to securing their spot in the Champions League for next term, with Pochettino’s side currently sat in third place in the Premier League table.
Spurs are next in action at the weekend when they take on West Ham United at White Hart Lane.
