Tottenham Hotspur have a massive Champions League trip to the Etihad next week.

Mauricio Pochettino has told The Daily Mail that he doesn’t know yet whether Dele Alli will be fit for Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League trip to Manchester City.
Alli missed Saturday’s 4-0 win over Huddersfield Town with the hand injury sustained in the visit of Pep Guardiola’s side last Tuesday.
Tottenham will already be without talisman Harry Kane for Wednesday’s second leg at Eastlands, meaning that it’ll be a double blow if his 23-year-old team-mate is also absent.
But Pochettino has insisted that he isn’t sure about Alli’s availability, revealing that he broke the hand in two places.
He told The Daily Mail: “We’ll see with Dele. I’m not sure. He is doing some training sessions and needs to be comfortable. It’s a bit painful. He broke a bone in two places.”
Tottenham did fine without Alli and Kane yesterday, as Lucas Moura’s hat-trick inspired the rout of Huddersfield, but away at Man City is a different test altogether.
Pochettino’s side have a slender 1-0 advantage going into the second leg after Son Heung-min’s winner in North London earlier this week, but time will tell whether the Lilywhites can hold on to what they have.
It’s been a disappointing and stop-start season for Alli on an individual level, starting only 21 Premier League and Champions League games.
But he’s certainly a big-game player for Pochettino and if he’s out, it’s a big, big miss.
