Tottenham Hotspur were labelled the ‘Harry Kane team’ by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

The Manchester City boss dubbed Spurs ‘the Harry Kane’ team, when talking about who he considers his side’s rivals for the Premier League title this season.
And although Pochettino feels the comments from the Spanish boss are disrespectful, the Tottenham manager says that his players have seen the funny side.
“I think it’s a sad comment because the players laugh about that. If you’re a manager you must show more, no? To be above this type of comment,” Pochettino said.

“The players laughing. Of course, only for some supporters and people that of course care about the club, the team, you know. But I think the players move on.”
Kane has been in scintillating form over the last month, when he has established himself as one of the most fearsome strikers in world football.
Kane already has 11 goals for Tottenham this season across all competitions, as he looks to win the Premier League’s golden boot trophy for the third successive season.

Kane was named as the Premier League’s Player of the Month for September earlier today, after a wonderful run of form.
Tottenham are next in action this weekend, when they take on Bournemouth at Wembley.
