The Tottenham Hotspur striker has endured a difficult period over the past few weeks.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s 2-0 win over Watford in the Premier League last night, and insisted that Harry Kane still needs to improve, as quoted by Football.London.
The 24-year-old has been in superb form this season, scoring 37 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions, but he has undoubtedly been affected in recent weeks by the controversy that has surrounded the ‘goal claiming incident’ against Stoke City a few weeks ago.

Kane is expected to lead the line for England at this summer’s World Cup, so he will have to put his feelings aside very quickly, if he is to enjoy a successful tournament.
The Spurs man did manage to score against the Hornets last night, but Pochettino insisted that he still needs to improve, as quoted by Football.London:

“He needs to improve still but happy. 150 games in the Premier League, 105 goals, what we can say more about him? Fantastic striker. I am happy for him that he scored today and happy for the team.”
The Lilywhites have still not secured their place inside the top four, needing five more points to guarantee Champions League football for next season, and if they are to do just that, Kane will need to be at his very best between now and the end of the season.
