Tottenham Hotspur were busy in the summer transfer window.

Pochettino, though, has suggested that he is open to signing free agents.
Pochettino told Football.London when asked about signing free agents: “We will see what happens, but I am so happy. I was happy before, but now I am even more happy. I am a happy man.”
Summer signings
Tottenham did not make any signing in the summer of 2018 or in January 2019, but the North London outfit were quite active this time around.
Spurs signed midfielder Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, left-back Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham and Giovani Lo Celso (on loan) from Real Betis this summer.
The Premier League club also secured the services of winger Jack Clarke from Leeds this season and sent him back to the Championship club on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.

Premier League challenge
Tottenham finished in the top four of the Premier League table last season and also reached the final of the Champions League.
The North London outfit will be aiming to challenge for the league title, and with the signings that they have made this summer, the fans should be optimistic indeed.
