Tottenham Hotspur will face Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has suggested to Football.London that Lucas Moura may not be fit for the match against Fulham this weekend.

Spurs will take on London rivals Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The 26-year-old Brazil international winger suffered a thigh injury during Tottenham’s victory over Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup earlier this month.

Spurs manager Pochettino has suggested that the former Paris Saint-Germain star may not recover in time for the game against Fulham.

Pochettino told Football.London about Moura: “If he arrives, it’s only to be maybe on the bench to help for a few minutes but I don’t believe he will be fit.”

Disappointment for Tottenham Hotspur

With Harry Kane out injured and Son Heung-min away on international duty at the Asian Cup with South Korea, Tottenham do look short of options upfront.

Fernando Llorente has struggled to make an impact, and Moura will have been an option to lead the line for Spurs.

If the Brazilian does indeed miss the London derby against Fulham, then it is going to be quite tricky for manager Pochettino regarding finding someone to play as a striker.
