Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth put in an excellent performance at right-back against Manchester City.

Foyth played at right-back in Tottenham’s match against Manchester City recently, and he impressed.
The Argentine managed to deal with the threat of Raheem Sterling well, even though Spurs fell to a 1-0 defeat.
And when asked whether Foyth could be used by Spurs at right-back more often, Pochettino said: “Yes. I think yes.
“I think he was very good. He played so well. The signal that he’s giving us in the training sessions, you can see and you can feel and you can trust him in that position.”
Foyth’s emergence as a right-back could be great news for Spurs, as Kieran Trippier has hardly impressed in the position.

Trippier, by his own admission, has struggled for form since the World Cup and he has been heavily criticised at times by the White Hart Lane crowd.
Serge Aurier is also currently out injured, meaning Foyth may well get another chance in Tottenham’s first-team before the end of the season.
Spurs are next in action tomorrow afternoon, when they take on West Ham United.
