Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino praises midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen is one of the best and most creative midfielders in the world and has been in great form so far this season.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has scored three goals and provided two assists in 11 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
The former Ajax star has also guided Denmark to the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia next summer.
Spurs manager Pochettino has said that Eriksen is a fantastic footballer, but he does not want to publicise him in case other clubs start looking at him.
“I don’t know,” Pochettino told Football.London when asked how much Eriksen is worth. “I think it is fantastic for us, fantastic for him.
“It is a massive achievement and when you see the game, the goals…unbelievable, the quality he showed.
“But I don’t want to publicise him because you know what happens after. The manager put the focus from other clubs on Christian.
“I don’t want to say he is a fantastic player. OK, he is an average player. It is better to say nothing because they pay attention at another club.”
Eriksen is superb footballer, and many will argue that the Denmark international is world class.
One suspects that most managers already know about the 25-year-old attacking midfielder, who is a key figure in the current Tottenham team.
