Tottenham Hotspur face a vitally important couple of months ahead of them.

According to a report from Football.London, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino made the decision to give his players who are not on international duty this weekend off from training.

Spurs are currently locked in a battle with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United to finish inside the Premier League’s top four, and have an FA Cup final against the Red Devils to look forward to.

Despite being knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus earlier this month, the Lilywhites have enjoyed a relatively successful campaign thus far, but the hard work really starts now.

Football.London report that Pochettino made the decision to give his players a rest from training this weekend, in preparation for what will be a physically demanding final stretch of games this season.

The north London outfit obviously have a whole host of players away on international duty, and they will be praying that they all return to the club in tip-top condition.
