Tottenham Hotspur have been rumoured to be interested in Bournemouth striker Josh King.
Josh King’s comments about being ‘intrigued’ over the rumours linking him with Tottenham Hotspur should spark Mauricio Pochettino into action.
Although King would not go as far as to state that he was interested in a move to Spurs, the Bournemouth striker’s comments hardly did much to quash speculation.
He said to the Daily Mirror, when asked about a move to link up with Mauricio Pochettino: “I would be a liar if I said I hadn’t noticed it. It was in most papers in England and you have got people tagging you and sending you links here and there.

“I was intrigued even being mentioned in the same sentence as Spurs, a big team who play in the Champions League.”
King’s comments certainly suggest that a move to Tottenham could appeal to him, and Pochettino should now act.
Spurs need to find a potent striker to help act as cover for Harry Kane, and King could be the perfect addtion.

Not only would the Norwegian international offer a very different option to Kane, as he likes to play on the shoulder of the last man and use his pace, but he also has a proven record at Premier League level now.
King scored 16 Premier League goals last season – and his arrival at Spurs would improve Pochettino’s attacking options even further.
Spurs have so far kept their transfer plans under wraps, but King’s comments should push the Lilywhites into action, as he could be a great addition for the North London club.
