Tottenham Hotspur are due to take on Manchester City in the Champions League tomorrow.
Spurs take on Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, in what will be a hugely difficult test for his side.
City have been in wonderful form of late, winning their last 14 matches across all competitions.
But Pochettino wants Tottenham to attack City from the off, and he says that he has been discussing all the potential scenarios which could occur early on in training.
The Argentine boss said: “That is a thing that we know very well, we’ve had time to prepare for the game.
“We were talking about different situations that can happen tomorrow from the beginning. We want to start tomorrow being tough, aggressive, with a high tempo – we’ll see if we can deliver that situation.
“Then we cannot guess, it’s going to be our second game at our new stadium, the first in the Champions League which is a completely different competition to the Premier League. Of course we hope and wish the atmosphere is going to be amazing and tough for our opponent and help us perform in the way that we want.”
Spurs have enjoyed a weekend away from action, while City were playing in the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
That may provide Tottenham with a slight advantage, but their task of winning in midweek still looks very difficult.
Tottenham will be playing at their new home for just the second time, after beating Crystal Palace in their first outing.
