Tottenham Hotspur produced a miraculous comeback against Ajax last night.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media after last night’s thrilling 3-2 win away at Ajax in the Champions League, and shared with reporters the message that he gave his players during the half-time interval, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs were trailing 1-0 from the first-leg, before conceding inside the first five minutes in Amsterdam, making the scoreline 2-0 to the Dutch side on aggregate.
Ajax then made it 2-0 on the night, 3-0 on aggregate, when Hakim Ziyech scored after 35 minutes, and things were looking really bleak for Tottenham.
Enter Lucas Moura.
The Brazilian scored a magnificent second-half hat-trick for Spurs, firing his side through to the Champions League final, and completing a quite remarkable turnaround in the process.
And Pochettino shared with reporters after the game the message that he gave his players during the half-time break, as quoted by Football.London:

“We talked a lot about how we needed to keep going, keep playing. It was Wanyama out and Llorente in, we tried to find different alternatives. The spirit of the team was amazing, never give up, the belief and the faith were the principles for the victory. It wasn’t the tactics, the substitutions or that we changed the way to play. I think it was the belief and the faith. I think that is why we are now in the final.”
Last night will surely go down as one of Tottenham’s greatest ever nights in Europe, if not the greatest.
They still have to beat Liverpool in order to win their first ever Champions League trophy, but after last night, the Spurs players and fans will be thinking that anything is possible.
