Mauricio Pochettino ‘thinks’ Harry Kane will be fit enough to start tonight for Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino has told The Independent that he expects Harry Kane to start in Tottenham Hotspur’s visit of West Ham United on Thursday.
The 24-year-old started Tuesday’s 2-0 win at Swansea City on the bench but made a late cameo and set up Dele Alli for Spurs’ second of the night.
Fernando Llorente started in Kane’s absence and opened his account in the Premier League this season, but ideally the Tottenham boss will want his star striker back when a resurgent West Ham visit Wembley tonight.

The England marksman eclipsed the goalscoring hauls of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017 by scoring 56 times for club and country, and Pochettino reveals that he expects the red-hot marksman to resume his place in the Lilywhites’ first XI this evening.
He told The Independent: “Yes, we’ll see. I think our decision was good because you can see on the pitch, it was difficult to run [with the heavy rain], after a few days with antibiotics.

“I think, yes, we hope now is going well and can be ready for West Ham. But, the same [situation], we need to see him and decide.”
West Ham are something of an unknown quantity ahead of their trip to North London. On one hand Tottenham will be big favourites, but on the other hand it must be remembered that David Moyes has the Hammers playing very well, even if results haven’t always reflected that, and Pochettino’s side might need to be at their best.
