Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping the international break has helped Tottenham Hotspur as they will be chasing all three points against Watford on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino has urged the Tottenham Hotspur players to ‘trust’ his decision-making, as he stated that the players are feeling ‘calm’ ahead of their Saturday afternoon clash.
Spurs will be taking on the Premier League’s bottom-of-the-table team in Watford, who are yet to win a game this season, as they sacked manager Javi Gracia during the last international break.
Pochettino has had to make a lot of decisions in recent weeks, from dropping senior stars to playing different formations, but it hasn’t helped Spurs’ form on the pitch.
Ahead of their home clash against Watford, Pochettino shared that the players are ‘feeling the support’, as he made it clear that this is the moment for everyone to ‘stay together’.
“What happened happened,” Pochettino told Football.London.“The most important thing is to provide calm. They are calm, they feel out support, from the coaching staff and the club and the fans, that they’re going to be there.
“Now is the moment to stay together and trust, of course, trust in my decision. I will try to make the best decisions to win.”

Whilst Watford have no wins to their names this season, the weekend match will be a big test for Pochettino’s side because of the poor form of their opponents and the pressure on their own shoulders.
Three points will lift the spirits at the club, as they desperately need a strong performance and some wins because another set of important fixtures are coming up.
Whilst the Premier League is still congested, Spurs cannot afford to drop more points in the Champions League where they have picked up one point from two games.
