Tottenham Hotspur have been in magnificent form recently.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters after his side’s impressive 6-2 win away at Everton yesterday, and shared something that his team did that would have surprised everyone, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs have been brilliant this season, and they currently sit in third spot in the Premier League table, two points adrift of second placed Manchester City, and a further four behind league leaders Liverpool.
The Lilywhites put in arguably their best display of the season at Goodison Park yesterday, and eventually ran out as comfortable 6-2 winners – a result that was made all the more impressive considering that they actually went behind after 21 minutes.
Tottenham have won seven of their last eight Premier League games, and Pochettino will surely know deep inside that his side are right in the mix in the race for the league title this season.
The Argentine addressed the media after yesterday’s win over Everton, and highlighted how his side’s energy and quality would have surprised everyone, as quoted by Football.London:

“Football is about to be consistent. We knew if we are capable to be consistent and play the way we play tonight, I think yes maybe we arrive to the end of April as a contender. There’s still a long way. We’re still involved in four competitions. I think today we surprised everyone, not only the quality, but the energy we showed was amazing after playing a really tough game in the derby against Arsenal on Wednesday.”
Next up for Tottenham is a home game against Bournemouth on Boxing Day, and they will surely be confident of making it five straight wins in the Premier League.
And Pochettino will most likely rotate his options once again, in an effort to inject some freshness into his team.
