Tottenham Hotspur beat Real Madrid 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that it’s difficult to see Toby Alderweireld being fit to face Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs enjoyed another stunning Champions League night, as just two weeks after drawing 1-1 away at Real Madrid, they managed to beat the reigning Champions League champions at Wembley Stadium.
Dele Alli converted from close range in the first half to give Spurs a 1-0 lead, before the midfielder made it 2-0 after the break with a deflected strike.

Christian Eriksen ran through on goal to make it 3-0, and whilst Cristiano Ronaldo pulled back a consolation for Real, the night belonged to Tottenham and manager Mauricio Pochettino.
With 10 points from four games, Tottenham have already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition with two games to spare, summing up just what an incredible job Pochettino has done.
However, Tottenham did have one piece of bad news coming out of the game, as defender Toby Alderweireld was substituted through injury after just 24 minutes.

The Belgian centre back suffered a hamstring injury, meaning he was replaced by Moussa Sissoko, and whilst Eric Dier slipped back into defence, Pochettino will be concerned about his injury.
Pochettino has told Football.London that Spurs will assess Alderweireld’s injury, but the bad news is that it will be ‘difficult’ for him to feature against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
“He felt something in his hamstring,” said Pochettino. “After tomorrow we will assess him. Sure for Sunday it’s difficult, but we’ll see after we assess him in the next few days.” he added.
