Tottenham Hotspur may not make any signings before Thursday’s deadline.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has told Football.London that he isn’t feeling too optimistic today about potentially making signings in the next 48 hours.
Spurs have suffered a dismal January, losing both Harry Kane and Dele Alli to injury before crashing out of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
Another factor is that Spurs have yet to make a new signing this month, and it’s now almost a year since their last addition – winger Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.
Spurs came into the window as the only Premier League team to have not signed anybody over the summer, and they look set to end January without additions too.
That’s despite the injuries to Kane and Alli and the departure of Mousa Dembele, with fans hoping to see a midfielder and an attacker arrive.
Boss Pochettino appeared hopeful just days ago that Spurs could get at least one deal over the line, with Tottenham looking at different options in the market.

However, Pochettino has been speaking ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Watford, and admitted that he isn’t feeling too optimistic today about the possibility of new signings, offering the message Spurs fans were dreading.
“A few days ago I was optimistic about a few options that we could sign, but today not too optimistic,” said Pochettino.
