Tottenham Hotspur kept their hopes of qualifying from their Champions League group alive last night.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s last-gasp win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last night, and bemoaned his team’s recent bad habit of conceding early goals, as quoted by Football.London.
Spurs desperately needed all three points against the Dutch outfit last night, with their Champions League fate hanging in the balance, and Harry Kane’s late brace spared Pochettino’s side’s blushes.
Tottenham now need to win both of their remaining two group games if they are to have any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition, but that will be easier said than done, with Inter Milan at home and Barcelona away next up on the schedule.
Pochettino spoke to reporters after his side’s win over PSV, and insisted that they must fund a way of cutting out errors that lead to conceding early on during games, as quoted by Football.London:

“To concede again an early goal, That’s football. It can happen. It’s true that it was an action that we conceded a corner and it comes in and it can happen. I think it’s not some reason that you can work on, it’s to be focused and try from the beginning, be aggressive, not concede this type of action like a corner in the first action. Many things sometimes happen, in the last few games for us like Manchester City and Barcelona, it happens a lot.”
Next up for Tottenham is a trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday evening, and the north London outfit can ill-afford to concede early against the Eagles, as they look to keep the pressure up on this above them in the table.
