Tottenham Hotspur will need to invest heavily this summer.

According to a report from the Daily Star, Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy are set to meet in the coming days to discuss how much money Tottenham have to spend in the transfer market this summer, with the Argentine targeting up to five new signings.
Spurs were so close to making history this season, but they eventually fell short, losing 2-0 to Liverpool in the Champions League final on Saturday night.
Tottenham have not signed a single player since January 2018, and it is clear to see that Pochettino needs to add some real quality this summer, if he is to guide his side to a major trophy next term.
And the Daily Star claims that the Argentine has a five-man shortlist this summer – Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, James Maddison and Maxi Gomez.

The British tabloid suggests that Pochettino is set for talks with Levy in the next few days in order to find out whether he will be sufficiently backed in the summer transfer market.
Whilst it will be unlikely that Tottenham will sign all five players mentioned, if they manage to attract at least three of them to north London, they will be in a great position from which to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
