Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal on Saturday.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke to reporters yesterday, and suggested that Jan Vertonghen should be fit for Saturday’s huge clash with Arsenal, as quoted by the Telegraph.
The Belgian missed last night’s defeat to Chelsea, and Spurs fans will be desperate for him to return to the fold against the Gunners at the weekend.
Vertonghen is a really calm presence at the back for Tottenham, and they will certainly need him against Arsenal’s in-form attack at Wembley on Saturday.
Toby Alderweireld seems to be a better player when his countryman is lined up alongside him, and according to Pochettino, that could very well happen in the North London Derby, as quoted by the Telegraph:

“Yesterday (Tuesday) he felt a problem with his hip, so he’s not available. Hopefully, it’s not a big issue and he can be available for the next game.”
The 31-year-old joined Tottenham from Ajax in the summer of 2012, for around £12 million, and he has since gone on to establish himself as one of the best central defenders in world football.
Vertonghen is one of Spurs’ most important players, and Pochettino will be a lot more confident in his side’s chances of beating Arsenal if the Belgium international is available for selection on Saturday.
