Tottenham Hotspur play has tot Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media today, and provided an update on Eric Dier, ahead of his side’s clash with Leicester City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, as quoted by Football.London.
The England international has only just returned after having surgery to remove his appendix, but is seems as though the defensive midfielder has suffered a further setback, albeit unrelated to his operation.
Pochetitno spoke to reporters, and suggested that Dier is a doubt for Sunday’s clash with the Foxes after being affected by a virus, as quoted by Football.London:
“We will see, he was affected by a virus and he needs time to recover.”

Tottenham currently sit in third spot in the Premier League table, five points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and second placed Liverpool, although they do have a game in hand on Pep Guardiola’s side.
Pochettino will need all hands on deck between now and the end of the season, especially in central midfield, with Mousa Dembele having left for China last month.
Judging by the Argentine’s comments, however, it seems as though Tottenham will have to make do without Dier on Sunday.
